New forms of mobility: Agici's 7 workshop on the Annual Report on Friday 2022 October

Objective focused on "Mobility as a service: from promise to concrete opportunity for citizens and operators" and a scope of action extended to the much broader theme of forms of urban mobility that change. These are the coordinates in which the conference is registered "Building the future of Italian mobility", promoted by act and scheduled for Friday 7 October in Milan with the possibility of free access (after registration) to the live streaming.

The appointment represents the 2022 workshop of the focus group Optimal Sustainable Mobility Mix (OSMM) of Agici Finanza d'Impresa, and it will be an opportunity to present the data of Agici 2022 report entitled "Digitization and integration for the future of urban mobility. Public policies and strategies to build a Mobility as a Service ecosystem in Italian cities". Three round tables will follow in which sector operators and local authorities will discuss the most urgent investments, strategies and policies to make cities more accessible, open and livable.

An appointment of Agici's Optimal Sustainable Mobility Mix (Osmm).

The appointment will see the interventions of companies including Cisco, Hitachi Rail, RFI, A2A, Iren and public administrations such as the municipalities of Rome, Bari, Naples and the mobility agency of Milano.

“The panorama of urban mobility is changing very rapidly: the need to reduce climate-changing emissions, improve air quality and the livability of cities, combined with the recent energy crisis with consequent increase in the price of fuels, are pushing the administrations local businesses, operators and citizens to find new, more efficient, cleaner and more convenient solutions for mobility – alternatives to the dominant model which sees the private car as the preferred means of transport, possibly accompanied by traditional public transport services”. This is the framework of the conference, which will address the topic of new mobility services in tumultuous development: from sharing to the micro-mobility, until the public transport on call. A patchwork of proposals that gives rise to "an offer of solutions for citizens that is as broad as, in many cases, uneven and disjointed".
