Nuclear, Trump breaks with Iran

“Either you correct or cancel the agreement. Harsh sanctions against the guardians of the revolution”, said the US president – But Germany, France and the United Kingdom isolate him: we will continue to respect him.

Nuclear, Trump breaks with Iran

“We cannot carry out this certification” for the nuclear deal with Iran "and we won't do it". US President Donald Trump said this, underlining that he will instruct his administration "to work with Congress and with allies, so that the Iranian regime does not threaten the world with nuclear weapons".

The agreement reached with Iran on its nuclear program, Trump said again, is “one of the worst and most lopsided transactions the United States has ever undertaken. Iran is under the control of a fanatic regime. As President of the United States, my greatest obligation is to ensure the safety of the American people."

Donald Trump to sign executive order against Iranian Revolutionary Guards (Pasdaran), urging sanctions. This was anticipated by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

“The US – added the American president – will work with allies to counter Iran's destabilizing activities and to put new sanctions in Tehran. It is time for the entire world to join us in demanding that the Iranian government end its pursuit of death and destruction."

The reaction of the Western world is cold. Germany, France and the United Kingdom "take note" of the decision by the US president, Donald Trump, not to certify the nuclear deal with Iran, but for their part, they remain "committed" to respecting it and to encourage its "full implementation by all parties".
