The summit on Monday evening, which lasted until late at night, did not go as hoped and this morning the 5 Star Movement chose to cancel the new meeting scheduled for 11 with the dem delegation. The decision was communicated to the Democratic Party with a phone call directly from Palazzo Chigi.
The hopes of reaching a last-minute agreement have not waned, but in the meantime, the swirl of cross-accusions is picking up again.
