Ntv: agreement signed with the unions on four points already agreed

Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (Ntv) and the trade unions have signed the agreement for the collective labor contract which will concern the 1083 employees (all of whom will be fully operational from mid-2012) of the new company chaired by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo.
The agreement provides for Ntv to adhere to the protocol on the new national mobility contract of 2009 with the implementation of four previously agreed points: the placement of Ntv in the railway activities category contract; the willingness of Ntv to participate in the table at the ministry for the drafting of the future mobility contract; the renewal of the contract for the railway activities and a second-level company supplementary agreement.
The managing director of Ntv, Giuseppe Sciarrone, spoke of "an innovative and modern contract" concerning the new company making its debut on the liberalized high-speed market and which will therefore be a competitor of Ferrovie dello Stato. The agreement is characterized by productivity levels proportionate to the technological characteristics of the high-speed railway system. The remuneration system will be set up according to a rewarding profile, since in addition to the fixed components it will include the performance bonus, the productivity bonus and an incentive quota based on the economic results obtained by the company. A productivity pact has also been drawn up for the period 2012-2014 with a work organization that will link wage increases to the improvement of competitiveness.'
