New: Artist flights. Collectable lives (and works) is Marika Lion's latest book

A volume that tells several stories from Pierre-Joseph Redouté, the Rembrandt of roses to MC Escher, a mathematician by chance. But also the essential art of Giorgio Morandi. Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso, friends and fathers of Cubism. John Constable's Dogged Love for Clouds. Women as precious as pearls for Jan Vermeer. Augustus John, the gypsy-painter with bright colors and powerful brushstrokes. Gian Lorenzo Bernini, a genius for Rome. The multifaceted Andy Warhol, who has made art of industry. The artistic suffering of Edvard Munch. Marc Chagall's Violins and the Family Campaign. And many other artists between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries.

A trip to an ideal museum, made up of words, where it is possible to admire the life and works of the most formidable talents of modernity. Each chapter is a monothematic room, a curious and confidential article to get to know some of the greats of art more intimately.

The book in both ebook and paper format published by goWare is available in Amazon | Apple iBookstore | bookrepublic | Get to the point | Google Play | IBS.it | Kobo Books | LaFeltrinelli.it | Mondadori Store
