Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Terna's direct shareholder with 29,85% held by CDP Reti, announced the appointments to the top management in view of the meeting on 9 May. The choice of is therefore official Josephine of Foggia as managing director e Igor De Biasio president. The first, current CEO of Nokia in Italy, strongly desired by Giorgia Meloni; the second by Matteo Salvini. Giuseppina Di Foggia will therefore be the first woman to lead one of the large listed companies controlled by the state. At the meeting, the CDP will also present the request to confirm the number of directors at 13, set the term of office at 3 years (deadline December 31, 2025), "confirm the gross annual compensation due to the chairman of the board of directors at €50.000 and the gross annual remuneration due to each of the other directors in Euro 35.000, in addition to the reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with the office; confirm the gross annual remuneration due to the chairman of the board of statutory auditors at 55.000 euros and the gross annual remuneration due to each of the other standing auditors at 45.000 euros, in addition to the reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with the assignment”.

The CDP press release concludes with "heartfelt thanks to the president, Valentina Bosetti, to the managing director, Stefano Donnarumma, and to the outgoing directors for the valuable work done". However, the Stock Exchange does not seem to have liked the turnover: le shares on the stock exchange they fell to 7,81 euro -1,34%.
