Appointments: Giancarlo Scotti arrives at CDP as the new director of real estate

Giancarlo Scotti is the new head of the Real Estate Management of Cdp. Andrea Montanino instead becomes head of the new Sectoral Strategies and Impact Department. The company communicates it.

Giancarlo Scotti, Aged 60, with a degree in Business Economics from Bocconi University, he joined CDP leaving the role of president of Prelios Sgr and vice president of Risanamento. He was CEO of Reale Compagnia Italiana Generali Real Estate and was Partner of Lazard & Co. with responsibility for the real estate sector at European level.

Andrea Montanino, 53 years old, he has been in CDP since the end of 2019 as Chief Economist. In the past he has held various positions, such as that of executive director and member of the board of the International Monetary Fund.

Both will respond to CEO Dario Scannapieco. In particular, Giancarlo Scotti will assume the responsibility, among other things, of assisting the top management in defining development and enhancement strategies for the real estate sector at Group level, coordinating the related activities; Andrea Montanino, on the other hand, will have the task of evaluating the main national and international economic trends, analyzing economic sectors and identifying any market gaps to be filled and areas to be developed.

Lastly, CDP's board of directors thanked Marco Doglio, outgoing head of the Real Estate Department, for the work he has done over the years.
