Since September 2014, Lanzetta – former president of various group companies – was responsible for Enel's Italian market. He is also president of the Energy Group of Assolombarda and member of the Board of Directors of Confimprese.

The same manager will also take care of "relationships with institutions and relevant stakeholders for the promotion of positioning, projects and technologies". It is worth remembering that Enel estimates the impact of European funds on the sector at 5-6 billion by 2026 but that most of this figure will be disbursed in the first three years of the period.
