All forecasts and analysts' rumors have been proven wrong. The new appointments of CDP on some large subsidiaries of the group presented many surprises, such as for Fincantieri. In view of the renewal of the board of directors with the assembly on May 16, the CDP list indicates Claudio Graziano as new president while for Pier Roberto Folgiero, current managing director of Maire Tecnimont, is looming as CEO of the Trieste shipbuilding group. Thus ends, after twenty years, Giuseppe Bono's season at the helm of the club since 2002.
Fincantieri: Graziano president and Folgiero ad
The board of directors of Cassa depositi e prestiti - a shareholder of Fincantieri with a stake of 71,32% of the capital - approved, in view of the renewal of the board of Fincantieri on the agenda of the meeting of 16 May, the following list of candidates to the office of director: Cristina Scocchia, Claudio Graziano, Pierroberto Folgiero – candidate possessing the specific professional skills for the office of managing director – Alberto Dell'Acqua, Valter Trevisani, Alessandra Battaglia, Massimo Di Carlo, Esedra Chiacchella and Rosanna Rossi.
The following resolution proposals will also be presented:
- appoint Graziano chairman of the board;
- determine the number of directors to be appointed in 10;
- the directors will remain in office for three financial years;
- confirm the gross annual remuneration due to each of the directors (including the chairman) at 50.000 euros, in addition to the reimbursement of expenses incurred in relation to the office.
A decision that held back the title of the naval group in Piazza Affari. While this morning with the return to track of a union between the two state giants with the appointment of Lorenzo Mariani (ex Leonardo) as CEO, considered a fundamental element in the choices on Leonardo's future, the shares had recorded a leap close to 2%. Now the share is limited to a gain of 0,25% to 0,61 euros.
CDP appointments for Aspi and Ansaldo Energia
In view of the closing of the acquisition scheduled for May 5th, the new appointments by CDP for the Autostrade board of directors designate Elizabeth Oliveri (President), while remaining at the helm of the company Roberto Tomasi, the other names are Massimo Romano, Francesca Pace, Roberta Battaglia and Fabio Massoli. The names are those envisaged by the shareholders' agreements with the Blackstone and Macquarie funds.
Finally, the new appointments by CDP for the top management of Ansaldo Energia designate Lorenza Franca Franzino as president and Joseph Marino as managing director. Then also Giovanni Zetti, Chiara Bisagni, Paola Girdinio, Gaetano Massara, Fabiola Pellegrini, Fabio Barchiesi and Maurizio Dainelli.
