Appointments of the Revenue Agency, Authority, Inps, Anas, Cdp: all referrals from the Government

In view of the great battle of the spring appointments, the Government is unable to release even the appointments that have already expired and for the Authorities it has to take refuge in the umpteenth extension

Appointments of the Revenue Agency, Authority, Inps, Anas, Cdp: all referrals from the Government

Revenue Agency, Authority, Inps, Anas, Cdp. They are a lot public nominations on which the majority cannot agree and which – if the stalemate is not resolved soon – risk paralyzing entire sections of the state administration.

The most serious case is probably that ofRevenue Agency, where there are to be renewed general manager and management committee. The first seat has been vacant since December 9, 2019, when the mandate of the general of the Guardia di Finanza, Antonino Maggiore, who managed the body for about a year and was not renewed by the current government, expired. His place has been provisionally taken by personnel chief Aldo Polito, who however can only deal with ordinary administration (and, moreover, will retire on 31 January). This situation has blocked operational plans and prevented the renewal of "team leaders", over 2.600 middle managers who carry out services for businesses and taxpayers. The management board, on the other hand, expired in April of last year.

For Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Northern League's Valentino Grant still sits on the board of directors, who eight months ago was elected MEP and should therefore be replaced.

The top management still needs to be renewed AGCOM e Privacy Guarantor, which expired respectively on 25 July and 19 June 2019. Article 2 of the Milleproroghe decree extended for the second time in six months the mandates of the outgoing presidents, who will remain in office until 31 March 2020.

The Anti-Corruption Authority (Anac) has instead been headless for three months, that is since Raffaele Cantone withdrew and was replaced by senior councilor Francesco Merloni, who however does not have the same powers as a president.

But that's not all: on the Board ofINPS there is an internal manager, Adriano Morrone, who fills the role of vice president while in the house Anas the managing director, Massimo Simonini, has been considered an ex for months now.

Finally, on 31 December the assignment of the special commissioner for the earthquake in Central Italy, the geologist Piero Farabollini.

Not a pretty picture, especially considering that the top management of almost all the large public companies expire in the spring: from the managing director of Eni, Claudio Descalzi, at number one of Enel, Francesco Starace,, passing through Alessandro Profumo (LeonardoMatteo Del FantePost) and Luigi Ferraris (Terna).
