Nokia presents two new smartphones and is the best European hi-tech: +2%

Nokia tries again. The Finnish group, in serious crisis in recent years, launches yet another desperate challenge to the giants Apple and Samsung, and offers the market two new smartphone models: the Nokia Asha 308 and 309, two mid-range products, certainly not up to par with the Lumia or iPhone and Galaxy, but created to consolidate their presence in the most popular level of the market.

In fact, the two mobile phones cost around 100 euros, depending on the country, and according to financial analysts it is essential for the Finnish company to offer models in that price range so as not to be overtaken by new brands that use the same Android operating system.

In the morning Nokia's stock on the Helsinki Stock Exchange gained 2%, in stark contrast to the European hi-tech market which on average came to lose 0,49%. A breath of fresh air for a share that has so far lost 40% in the calendar year, after losing 50% throughout 2011.
