Mediobanca's Research Department has completed the collection and processing of balance sheet data for all 492 Italian banks with assets equal to or greater than 50 million euro. This aggregate represents over 96% of the Italian banking system. It is therefore a very comprehensive snapshot of the economic and financial structure of banks, regulatory capital, credit quality, coverage rates for non-performing loans as well as the consistency and composition of guarantees, which is presented on Monday 13 March at 18 pm in via Bigli, 11/A (Nextam headquarters) in Milan, on the occasion of the seminar "Focus on the Italian banking system".
Carlo Gentili, managing director of Nextam Partners, introduces the conference, then gives a speech Gabriele Barbaresco, Director of the Mediobanca Research Area, while the Honorable Giorgio La Malfa and Senator Massimo Mucchetti intervene in the debate.
