After last year's record of the 1968 work Orphaned Cheetah, Christie's is back with a catalog of 28 extraordinary images by the same author, the great photographer Peter Beard.
There are very few photographers who have managed to describe the charm of African animals; Beard is one of these, who with great simplicity and skill has managed to enhance their beauty, their strength and at the same time immortalize their soul that we immediately find when observing these wonderful works.
In the catalog Into Africa: Photographs by Peter Beard of the Christie's auction we find the best of its production.
The fact remains that this artist is highly appreciated by international collectors, recording an increase in the value of each of his individual works in recent years. Investing in Beard images is certainly an investment that can give good returns over time.
