Nestlè, what crisis? Earnings +8,1%

It is the largest food company in the world and, apparently, knows no crisis. Nestlé ended 2011 with a net profit of 9,5 billion Swiss francs, about 7,86 billion euros, up 8,1%. Total turnover is 83,6 billion francs (+7,5%).

For 2012, the Swiss giant says it has "positive prospects", aiming for organic growth of 5-6%. A dividend of 2011 francs per share is proposed on the 1,95 results.

In any case, according to the managing director Paul Bulcke, 2011 "was a difficult year and we do not expect 2012 to be less". On the Zurich Stock Exchange, Nestlé shares rose by 1,38% to 55,20 francs in mid-morning.
