"In the next few days - explains the Committee that was formed during the protest - after ten years of extensions without government intervention, Rule 29-1 quater will come back into force, the illegitimate modification of an old and outdated law which among other things provides for the return to the shed at the end of every single service, no matter how far it may be. A wrong law, then as now, which does not take into account the current work context of the ncc necessarily released from the place of issue of the authorization”.

"The rule, suspended in the last ten years, could come back into force, effectively decreeing the end of 80.000 businesses. But it would not be only the NCC companies that would be affected - says the newly formed committee. The interruption or drastic reduction of activity in this sector would have serious consequences for the entire automotive segment and related industries that revolve around this economic sector. Last but not least, tourism would also be affected, one of the pillars of the Italian economy, which makes use of the services of NCC companies".
