Great football is back with the resumption of the Serie A Championship – after the break for the matches of the Italian national team. But football is also back for solidarity: they will be there to challenge each other on the pitch National singers and the newborn National Italian Post Office. It will therefore be a weekend also dotted with other unusual football events such as the Clericus Cup, the World Cup of the Church.
Sunday 31 March, in Fano there is a match in which the National Post Office – coached by Angelo DiLivio, a player from Juventus, Fiorentina and the national team – will challenge the National singers with a lot in support of the Tma Onlus, a cooperative that uses multisystem therapy in water to help autistic people.
The Nazionale di Poste is part of a project supported by the CEO, Matthew Del Fante, and by the head of corporate affairs, Joseph Lasco, with which the company aims to enhance sport as a vehicle for integration and cohesion among colleagues.
Thanks to the activities of its national football team, Poste Italiane will also be able to multiply the opportunities for initiatives of solidarity and proximity to the territories.
Coach Di Livio selected 30 players at the end of a two-day internship and planned the preparation of the yellow-blue formation in view of the team's debut on March 31st at the "Mancini" stadium in Fano. The proceeds from the game will be donated to the Tma Onlus, the cooperative that deals with therapeutic assistance to autistic people.
There were two requirements to participate in the selection: to be Poste Italiane employees and membership with an amateur football club. The average age of the athletes is around 35 years old and they represent the whole country: 12 come from the north, 9 from the center and 9 from the south.
