Food, a portal on Made in Italy excellence in food and wine and agri-food promoted by FIRSTonline, debuts on Monday 29 October. Food will be curated by Giuliano De Risi and will be aimed at both gourmets passionate about Italian cuisine and the food and agricultural companies that are the basis of Italian Food

The countdown has begun. Food debuts on Monday 29 October, portal on food and wine and agro-food excellence made in Italy, promoted by FIRSTonline, of which it will re-propose the style, independence of judgment, reliability and quality of information

Food will be edited by Giuliano DeRisi, former director of one of the major national press agencies and great connoisseur of Italian Food and will make use of a first-rate team of professionals with proven experience such as Alessandro Mastrantonio, former director of Agrisole, Daniela Scrobogna, Massimo Agostini, Gianluca Pacella , Rita Cavalli and others.

The purpose of the new vertical site is to raise the quality and specialization of the editorial offer of the AL Iniziative Editoriali group, which has been publishing the economics and finance web journal FIRSTonline for almost 8 years, chaired by Ernesto Auci and directed by Franco Locatelli, That reaches 50 direct visits daily and 75 aggregated for about 2 million and 200 monthly contacts. With the arrival of Food which follows the Art portal, launched last spring, thus bringing the group's sites to three, which will become four by the end of the year with a new original initiative already in the works.

Food is aimed at professionals, operators, scholars and gourmets of Italian cuisine but also at excellence of Made in Italy in the agri-food sector with a global and complete vision of the entire supply chain that goes from the countryside to industry and from production to consumption to arrive on the Italian table and amaze foreign gourmets.

Every week a starred chef will sign an author's recipe for Food readers to cook a delicious dish in just 30 minutes and a great sommelier will advise and tell the story of the most suitable wine. But the exploration of Made in Italy food and wine and food it will be enriched with great interviews, presentation of well-known personalities or not, quality products and companies, tips for eating well but healthy.
