Cherry Bank is born: the merger between Banco delle Tre Venezie and Cherry 106 is completed

Cherry Bank is born: the new bank born from the merger by incorporation of the servicer Cherry 106 in the Paduan bank Bank of the Three Venices. The bank's shareholders' meeting approved in extraordinary session some amendments to the statute, including the change of the company name to Cherry Bank. Alongside the new name, the corporate identity was renewed, which saw the launch of a new website and the development of a new brand to graphically express the union of the two realities into one. Thus comes to an end a journey that began in June 2020

The merger had taken place at the beginning of October 2021, after the respective shareholders' meetings had approved with large majorities the project promoted by Giovanni Bossi, majority shareholder with 40,7% and managing director of the new company. Following the merger with Banco Tre Venezie, the pre-existing BTV shareholders now hold 49% of the share capital of the post-merger bank, while the former Cherry 106 shareholders now hold 51%, with Bossi in the relative majority.

The rebranding of Cherry Bank is underway after the merger between Banco delle Tre Venezie and Cherry106

The new denomination alludes to the concept of “cherry picking” – reads a note – i.e. the ability to select opportunities that create value for customers and for the Bank. Together with the new name, an extensive corporate identity restyling project was carried out, with the launch of a new website, online at www.cherrybank.it, and the development of a new brand to combine the Cherry106 pictograms and Banco delle Tre Venezie, in one.

Once the transfer of all resources operating in Padua to the offices in the Net Center has been completed, the offices in Milan and Rome and all the branches remain operational: Padua, Mestre-Venice, Treviso, Vicenza and Verona.

"We are a company, even before being a bank, which works with families, businesses and entrepreneurs: a "contemporary" bank, made up of people for people - he commented John Bossi, CEO of Cherry Bank – We like to define ourselves as a "human bank", which builds its growth on the well-being of those who work for the Bank, our "cherries", in the belief that it is the first ingredient for establishing a positive relationship with the customer and the context in which we operate”.

“The most important investments we will make will have the objective of enhancing the human heritage of our institute, which has 165 people. Today 21% are under 30 and 62% under 40: welfare plans, quality of working environments and above all continuous training, necessary for our personal growth and that of the customer, to whom we do not intend to offer only solutions, but the opportunity to make informed choices”, concluded Bossi.
