Sharper than that the warning of the Head of State to the political forces of the majority who are raising the fever of the crisis on the Kazakh case. During the Ventaglio ceremony, Giorgio Napolitano judged the story of the Shalabayeba unheard of ("rules of conduct and bureaucracy have put the executive in difficulty") but he practically armored the Letta government arguing that "it must go on because if it is jeopardized would be irrecoverable repercussions”, both in international relations and on the financial markets.
Napolitano essentially made two things clear: 1) despite the understandable stomach aches in the Kazakh case, head-onings that could lead to a government crisis are not tolerable; 2) in the unfortunate event of a government crisis, the President of the Republic would not take advantage of it politically and would draw all the consequences.
We will see now and above all tomorrow when the prime minister intervenes in Parliament on the case, what the reactions of the majority political forces will be and the ways out of a story that has greatly poisoned the political climate.
UPDATE:
In the afternoon, the group of senators from the Democratic Party decided by a large majority not to vote on the motion of no confidence presented by M5S and Sel against Alfano, even if Renzi does not let his guard down and does not exclude the Minister of the Interior.
