The head of state, after receiving a delegation from the PDL, expresses his regret for yesterday's demonstration in front of the Palace of Justice in Milan - Napolitano's warning: "Do not question the autonomy of the judiciary".

Giorgio Napolitano, in a statement released after receiving a PDL delegation at the Quirinale, expressed “his deep regret at the rekindling of tensions and conflicts between politics and justice. Regret, in particular, for what happened yesterday and resulted in an unprecedented political demonstration inside the Palace of Justice in Milan”. A demonstration, that of the Pdl parliamentarians led by the secretary Angelino Alfano that the head of state did not like at all.

The President of the Republic invoked serenity on the issue of justice, in the hope that "neither the freedom of expression of any dissent nor the autonomy and independence of the judiciary will be called into question". Napolitano also invited the Presidential Committee of the CSM to a meeting to be held today at 18 pm.
