“There are pre-electoral political tensions that can be understood even outside Italy without raising alarms about the institutional stability of our country. This estate is out of the question. I have a duty to reaffirm it publicly and I feel capable of doing so." This was stated by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, speaking to the Anci board in the Campidoglio.
