Rome and Naples do not take advantage of the draw in the Italian derby between Juventus and Inter and the ranking remains unchanged after the 16th day in the top positions. In fact, the three big matches of the weekend in which the teams currently occupying the top four positions in the Serie A standings all end up with a score of 0-0: the Giallorossi and the Azzurri do not go beyond the 0-0 respectively in Verona against Chievo and at home against Fiorentina.
Clean sheets, therefore, like the standings: Inter remain in first place, the only team still unbeaten, then there is Napoli who lose the opportunity to overtake but regain second place alone, just one point behind the Nerazzurri. Roma, on the other hand, remains fourth: for Di Francesco's men it is the second consecutive away draw after that of Genoa against Genoa. The Neapolitans are still in difficulty, still orphaned by Insigne and the long-term patient Ghoulam: it is the second consecutive game without scoring a goal, even if there were some signs of recovery in the second half.
