Savings Museum presents an initiative that explains computer security to children

The Museo del Risparmio and the Cybersecurity Business Continuity Management Department of Intesa Sanpaolo present the initiative "No, I don't fall for it”, an online activity aimed at classes of children aged 7 to 10 with the aim of making them aware of the importance of protecting their electronic devices, personal data and purchases from attacks by online scammers with parental supervision.

Through some fun challenges, games and quizzes, girls and boys will test their knowledge and skills in managing email attachments, creating secure passwords, protecting social profiles and defending themselves against computer viruses. Interested teachers can register classes by writing to the address INFO@museodelrisparmio.it.

In an increasingly computerized world in which even the younger generations are immersed on a daily basis, using PCs, smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices, protection becomes a fundamental aspect in everyday life. Even the main economic activities cannot ignore the Web and for all these reasons it is clear that Cybersecurity has become a primary technological and economic topic to be known and mastered as soon as possible.

"More and more money management also goes digital – explains Giovanna Paladino, director of the Museum – and children are the best ambassadors within the family".

The Savings Museum is Intesa Sanpaolo's financial education initiative. It has been open since 2012 and is a founding member of the International Federation of Finance Museums (IFFM), an international network of private and public museums dedicated to the subject of finance.
