Il Intesa Sanpaolo Savings Museum sees as financial education activities aimed at young people and adults on money management in a simple way and with a digital and multimedia approach.

Il Savings Museum, born in Turin in 2012, is characterized as a place where the visitor can test their money management skills through the logic ofedutainment with the use of audiovisual materials (cartoons, docu-fiction, interviews, theatrical animations) created to explore financial concepts in the clearest and most understandable way.

In 2021, the Museum responded to the challenges posed by the pandemic by adopting a "phygital-oriented" method of training and dissemination of financial culture. This approach has made it possible to achieve 48.000 students and primary and secondary school teachers with a total of 844 hours of training provided and involve around 5.600 adults through events, dedicated dissemination initiatives and face-to-face visits to the Museum.

Initiatives kick off Thursday May 12 at 18.30 with the conference-show "Neuromagic: when magic reveals our relationship with money”, where a young magician and a psychologist are busy exploring the mechanisms of cognitive and emotional functioning in money management. The protagonists and organizers of "Neuromagia" are Edward Ares, magician and professional illusionist e Massimo Bustreo, consultant in the psychology of consumption and money, IULM professor. The show is produced by the IULM University of Milan & Compagnia Pantakin from Venice.

Friday May 13th, at 18:30, the meeting "Music Economy: from 45 rpm to Spotify” with the participation of Francesco Prisco, music expert, journalist of the Sole 24 ore and author of "La Music Economy".

Saturday May 14th, from 17:00, the exciting live musical quiz "Tv, Coins and Songs” 

Sunday May 15th, at 16:00, “Jukebox - a coin for a song”, the educational workshop for children aged 6 to 10 which.

Furthermore, until 31 May, the public will also be able to visit the special display of the Museum's piggy bank collection, entitled “Saving in time to music”, including musical instruments, nice instrumentalists and pieces inspired by some famous musical pieces. Access to the exhibition will be free for the whole month, with the possibility of free guided tours by reservation on 14 and 15 May. Throughout the period of the Eurovision Song Contest, the Museo del Risparmio will become the official mobile newsroom of Imaginary Radio, hosting the broadcaster's very young speakers who will talk about the events through the various multimedia platforms.
