If on the one hand it is true that paying fines, stamp duties, membership fees and various taxes is something we do not do willingly and least of all we are in a hurry to do, it is however also indisputable that the commitments are honorary and that at that point we might as well complete the procedure as quickly as possible. For this comes the app EasyPol, which makes online payments instantaneous and with which it becomes possible to pay all the notices of 22 thousand entities (PagoPA), whether they are membership fees, Tari, Tasi, Asl tickets, car tax, professional orders or university fees, without registration and in full security. With EasyPol for all these boring payments 37 seconds is enough with your smartphone, which becomes a maximum of 4 minutes counting the time to download and set up the app, if it is the first time.
A huge time saver, if you think about it every year we spend an average of 400 hours queuing at post office, local health, bank or tobacconist's counters: that is, the equivalent of a good sixteen days, which go away only to pay taxes or penalties. It is estimated that a 55-year-old Italian spent about 2,5 hours waiting his turn. With EasyPol, the result of a startup founded in 2017 by Matteo Preziotti, Valerio Pugliese and Gianluca Ventola, the procedure instead becomes simpler, even if not cheaper: for each transaction there is in fact a cost of two euros, exactly equal to the amount requested when you physically go to make a payment from the tobacconist, bank and so on.
However, the app is available to everyone, available for free on Android and iOS (and does not use the personal data on the mobile phone). For payment, just two simple steps: click and pay. It is sufficient to take a photo of the QR code of the notice, without having to copy long sequences of numbers and digits by hand, and proceed to payment immediately. Among other advantages, the possibility of using a digital archive to keep all receipts and to set reminders that remind us of the expiry of taxes and penalties. Immediate payment also guarantees the possibility of taking advantage of the reduction for the balance within five days of notification, for example in the case of fines.
