Mps flies: rumors about buyers

The week of the Stock Exchange starts in great shape for the title Ps, which at the start of the session manages to gain around 12%, at 0,639 euros per share, posting the best increase in the Ftse Mib.

The wave of purchases was triggered by the rumors reported today by La Repubblica, according to which Prime Minister Matteo Renzi would have rekindled a beacon on the bank with warnings Claudius Costamagna e Charles Messina, the two possible buyers of Montepaschi respectively through CDP e Intesa Sanpaolo. The triangle, writes the newspaper, would be made up with the Foundations.

Meanwhile, the day begins in positive territory also for all the other bank stocks (albeit with a lower rise than that of MPS), still supported by new ECB measures announced last Thursday by Mario Draghi.

About an hour after the start of trading, the best stocks on Piazza Affari include Bper (+5,19%) and the betrothed bpm (+ 4,55%) and Banco Popolare (+3,20%). Well too Intesa Sanpaolo (+ 1%), Unicredit (+ 1,4%), Ubi e Mediobanca (both +2%). Out of the Ftse Mib, rip Carige (+ 5,9%).
