At Piazza Affari yesterday MontePaschi it lost 3,7% in the first day after the conclusion of the capital increase. At the opening today, however, the stock recovers a percentage point on the Ftse Mib, a 1,429 euro.
The unexercised option rights will be offered on the Stock Exchange until 7 July 2014, subject to early closure.
Meanwhile, today the Sienese institute will repay three billion nominal new financial instruments, the so-called Monti bonds, plus interest accrued in 2013, for a total of 3,455 billion.
