Monte dei Paschi di Siena announced this morning the resignations of five directors indicated in the list presented by the Mef on the occasion of the renewal of the board of directors in the list presented on 27 March 2023. The note from Piazza Salimbeni also specifies that the board of directors will proceed without delay with the process of integration of the governing body, in accordance with the expected regulatory provisions.
I independent advisers of the Sienese credit institution who have resigned are: Paolo Fabris De Fabris, member of the committee for transactions with related parties and of the supervisory body 231; Lucia Foti Belligambi, member of the remuneration committee and of the committee for transactions with related parties; Laura Martiniello, member of the nominations committee and of the risks and sustainability committee; Annapaola Negri – Clementi, president of the committee for transactions with related parties and member of the remuneration committee; Donatella Visconti, member of the nominations committee and of the committee for transactions with related parties.
The board of directors and the board of auditors, having acknowledged the resignations, "thank the aforementioned directors for their fruitful contribution in recent years", reads a note from Monte dei Paschi di Siena.
