Mps and Compass together in the distribution of loans

The two companies increase profitability and business opportunities. The new agreement, renewed after the last three years of the partnership, also provides for the introduction of integrated digital processes in MPS internet channels, reducing service times. Thanks to the synergy with Compass, Banca Mps will distribute loans and salary-backed loans throughout the country

Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Compass (the consumer credit company of the Mediobanca Group) have announced that they have renewed the multi-year partnership for the distribution of Compass loans in over 1.800 branches of the Sienese banking group.

After the collaboration of the last three years, the new agreement between the companies foresees, starting from the new year, in addition to the loans, the extension to the whole national territory of the salary assignment with the collaboration of Futuro, the subsidiary of Compass active in the disbursement of this type of loan.

Satisfaction from Rocca Salimbeni: “The renewal of the partnership – commented Marco Morelli, CEO of Banca Mps – will allow the Montepaschi Group to strengthen its offer with more solutions in terms of duration, size and type of financing, in order to further satisfy the needs of the own clientele. The new agreement also provides for the introduction of digital processes integrated into the Bank's internet channels, with the aim of increasing customer contact opportunities, reducing service and interaction times and in line with our Business Plan".

“We are very pleased to renew this distribution agreement which demonstrates the goodness of the partnership of recent years – comments Alberto Nagel, CEO of Mediobanca. A very important collaboration for us because it is based on a deep professional and commercial understanding and which allows us to strengthen our territorial presence, while at the same time increasing our market share in consumer credit

In recent years Compass has established partnerships with over 50 Italian banks. The company is now able to respond in an increasingly widespread manner to the financing needs of Italians through 6.350 bank branches which complement the over 30 affiliated businesses, 12 post offices and the direct channel, represented today by 169 own brand subsidiaries.
