Moody's against Italian and European banks and companies

The rating agency has placed 114 European credit institutions under observation, of which 24 are Italian (Unicredit, Intesa, Mps) due to the "prolonged impact of the crisis in the euro area" - Furthermore, Moody's has announced that it will reevaluate its opinion on the main Italian companies with public participation: Eni, Finmeccanica, Enel, A2a among others.

The American agency Moody's, which two days ago he lowered his judgment on Italy from A2 to A3, it decreased the rating by 114 European banks of which 24 Italian. Furthermore, Moody's has announced that it will reassess its opinion on the main Italian state-owned companies as well. They ended up in the viewfinder Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (whose long and short term rating has already been downgraded to A3/P-2, with negative outlook), Eni (senior unsecured long-term rating reduced from A1 to A2), Poste Italiane (rating at A3 with negative outlook), Finmeccanica (revised the outlook from stable to negative), Enel, Terna, A2A, Acea, Hera, Edison, Rome Airports. In addition, Generali, Unipol and Atlantia are also under scrutiny.

Italy has the highest number of institutions whose rating has been put under review (24), in Spain instead there are 21, 10 in France, 9 in the United Kingdom, 8 in Denmark and Austria, 7 in Germany, 6 in Portugal and Sweden, 4 in Slovenia, 2 in Switzerland and one respectively in Belgium, Finland, Luxembourg and Norway.

In Piazza Affari, around 10.40, Unicredit lost 3,22%, Ubi Banca 1,69%, Banco Santander 3,66%, Banca Pop Milano 3,15%, Intesa 1,61% . Eni (-0,23%), Enel (-3,50%), Unipol (-4,47%) and Atlantia (-1,13%) were also bad. On the other hand, MPS (+0,18%), BNP Paribas (+0,14%) and Banca Generali (+0,37%) were positive.
