Monti announces his commitment on Twitter: "Let's get into politics"

The outgoing Prime Minister, two days after the presentation of the Agenda which will (perhaps) have to dictate the guidelines of the next government, also lands on the social network, which he chooses to announce his political commitment.

Monti announces his commitment on Twitter: "Let's get into politics"

And after Pope Benedict XVI, Mario Monti also landed on Twitter. The outgoing prime minister, after carrying out his mandate in absolute compliance with institutional communication standards, including Christmas greetings to high state officials and party leaders, suddenly decided, a few minutes before midnight, to use the social network of 140-character chirps to announce his political commitment for the new year.

Monti's profile, recently opened (as well as that of the Pontiff which has been around for a couple of weeks) read as follows: “Together we saved Italy from disaster. Now the policy needs to be renewed. Complaining is not necessary, spending yes. 'Let's go up' in politics”. This is the content, divided into two tweets, published on the Internet. A short but strong message: first of all, note the use of the word "together", which therefore alludes, if not to a Monti list, at least to a team, a line of thought, to a movement; and then the ennoblement of the word "politics", in which one engages not by "going down" (as some politicians of the recent past often say), but "going up".

However, it all happens just two days after the presentation of the infamous Monti agenda, which contains the program (if any) for the next executive.
