Yesterday in Turin it was held a meeting between Monte Paschi Banque, the Montepaschi Group's bank incorporated under French law, and companies from the North West. The theme developed during the meeting was that of commercial relations and business development opportunities with neighboring France, a country where 35% of Italian investments in the Eurozone are already concentrated.
In terms of investment volumes across the Alps, Italy ranks second after Germany: in fact, there are over 2.700 small and medium-sized Italian enterprises present in the area with their own headquarters, with the use of human resources exceeding 100.000 units.
The round table, which outlined the legal scenario and the opportunities associated with the internationalization process, was opened by Fabrizio Viola, managing director of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena. Speakers were, among others, Roberto Bonucci, general manager of Monte Paschi Banque, Hervè Pottier, director for Italy of the French agency for international investments (AFII), Enrica Delgrosso and Marco Sandrone for Sace and Fabrizio Schintu, head of the foreign area bmps.
“Today's event made it possible to strengthen relations between Monte Paschi Banque and the Italian companies in the North West that invest in the French market”. This was the comment of the director general Roberto Bonucci who then underlined the importance of the institute's transnational vocation.
The meeting was also the occasion to present Agenzia Centrale Italia, a structure dedicated to constant dialogue with the Montepaschi Group and its foreign network, able to offer complete consultancy support in addition to products and services.
