Monte dei Paschi: all unexercised option rights already sold

Today, in the first session of the stock market offering of the unexercised rights as part of the capital increase of Monte dei Paschi di Siena, all the unexercised option rights were sold by Mediobanca. This was communicated by a note from the bank, underlining that these are 6.203.425 rights, valid for the subscription of 4.466.466 shares of newly issued MPS ordinary shares. "The rights - specifies a note - may be used for the subscription of newly issued Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena ordinary shares, having the same characteristics as the outstanding ordinary shares of the Bank and with regular entitlement, at the price of 0,446 euro per share, in the ratio of 18 new ordinary shares for every 25 option rights, for an equivalent value of 1.992.043,84”. The subscription of the newly issued B.Mps ordinary shares must be carried out through the authorized intermediaries adhering to the Monte Titoli management system by 20 July 2011, under penalty of forfeiture.
