World Cup 2022: Enav takes the field for air traffic management

Even if the Italian national team will not be there, Enav will take the field to manage air traffic during the match FIFA 2022 World Cup, scheduled from 21 November to 18 December. As part of its business on the unregulated market, the company has signed a contract with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority for support in Qatar's air traffic management. The contract, in partnership with Fusion Technology Trading, will have a duration of 12 months, for a maximum total amount of 19,1 million euros, of which 10,1 million will be allocated to the Enav Group.

In addition to support activities during the World Cup, the civil air traffic management company will assist the Emirate of Qatar in the take-over, restructuring and management of the new Qatari Flight Information Region, soon to be established. In particular, - explains the company that manages civil air traffic in Italy - technical operational consultancy activities are planned to provide services to air navigation in the Qatari airspace and training of air traffic controllers.
