World Cup 2018, Mediaset wins TV rights: it will broadcast in the clear

Mediaset had lost the Champions League, stolen exclusively from Sky three years ago for the record sum of around 600 million, but now it's making up for it and trying again with the World Cup. blowing them this time to Rai for a high figure, however, considering that Italy will not participate and that the audience will certainly be affected: 78 million euros.

According to the latest rumors, this is the offer presented by the Alfa Romeo to broadcast the matches of the 2018 World Cup which will take place next summer in Russia. The event, therefore, for the first time will not go on Rai networks (the last few editions had been the prerogative of the Sky-Rai couple, with at least the national team and the final, as well as a set number of other matches, guaranteed on public TV) And it will be broadcast by Mediaset's unencrypted channels, therefore not from Premium, and therefore visible to all.
