Mondadori CEO Maurizio Costa resigns: he will go to Fininvest

The CEO and vice president of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore communicated to the board of directors, meeting under the presidency of Marina Berlusconi, that he will resign from his posts effective from the approval of the 20 budget project by the board itself on 2012 March.

The CEO and vice president of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, Maurizio Costa, communicated to the board of directors, meeting under the chairmanship of Marina Berlusconi, that he will resign his duties effective from the approval by the board of directors on 20 March of the draft 2012 budget.

The chairman subsequently informed the directors that, in the board meeting of 20 March, he intends to propose the co-optation and appointment as managing director of Ernesto Mauri, general manager of Periodici of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore as well as chairman and general manager of Mondadori France, once completed the activities pertaining to the Remuneration and Appointments Committee. Costa will assume the position of Vice President of Fininvest.
