The star of continues to shine in Piazza Affari Moncler, which has come to surpass icons of the Ftse Mib such as Tim and Poste Italiane.
After the rally scored in the first six months of this year (+50%), the stock of the fashion house continues to rise, today posting a new rise of 1%, a 39,18 €. On average over the last year, the value of Moncler shares has almost doubled: + 91,12 %.
The upward trend continues despite the majority of brokers calling for prudence on the stock: the average of the valuations expressed by analysts does not go beyond 35,8 euros and only 27% of investment houses suggest buying the stock.
A discordant voice has come to support the recent increases by Moncler: that of Merrill Lynch, who – in profound disagreement with the other brokers – not only recommends buying the stock, but also indicates a target price of 50 €, well beyond the historic record of 42 euros reached in mid-June.
The assessment would be based on an estimate of an average annual increase in profits of more than 20% until 2020. In the last two years, Moncler's profits have increased by an average of 22%, reaching almost 250 million euros in 2017.
With the performance of the last few sessions, the Moncler has reached a capitalization of 10 billion euros, a higher value than the current value of groups such as Tim, Poste Italiane and Terna.
