New headquarters for Moncler, a company listed on the Stock Exchange that has chosen the South of Milan, to be exact Symbiosis, the business district of Covivio, for its new headquarters. The building, still to be built, will be located near the Prada Foundation and the new Fastweb headquarters in Milan, a stone's throw from where the Olympic village of the Milan Cortina 2026 Games: the agreement provides for a fifteen-year lease, starting from the end of 2024. The quilt group will have its offices in a single space of about 38.000 square meters.
“We want to redesign the work experience of our people in a place where they can express their full potential and where creativity and collaboration are at home,” he said the CEO of Moncler, Remo Ruffini, underlining that “we will continue to welcome and support the needs of our people, offering flexible working arrangements, but my dream is to create a place where energy, well-being and attention to the environment are at the center of everything and where we all want to come”. The building will be designed by the international architecture and interior design studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel according to the multiple criteria of environmental sustainability and well-being, and provides for obtaining certifications according to the Well and Leed standards.
The chimney in the area, symbol of the old industrial area, has been restored and will continue to be re-functionalized in an ecological key to mitigate the thermal conditions of the building. The cistern adjacent to the property will be converted into a rainwater tank for irrigation of the internal garden. The partnership with Moncler “confirms the great attractiveness of Symbiosis which already hosts important corporate realities: out of the total 126.000 square meters of the Symbiosis area, to date, more than 100.000 square meters have been built or are under construction, already marketed with 96% success”, said Alexei Dal Pastro, managing director Italy of Covivio.
