The count continues slowly, but at this point the advantage of the centre-right seems impossible to fill. In the regional elections in Molise, with 80% of the sections voted out, Donato Toma – candidate for governor of the centre-right – is ahead with 44,5% of the votes. Andrea Greco, supported by the 5 Star Movement, is at 37,42%. Very far behind Carlo Veneziale, of the centre-left, with 16,88%.
In short, the pattern already seen at the national level is repeated. The centre-right is the first coalition, while M5S is the first party. The grillini took 30,52%, significantly detaching Forza Italia (9,68%), Lega (8,17%), Fratelli d'Italia (4,53%) and UDC (which leaps from 2% at 7%).
A real debacle for the centre-left, with the Pd at 8,7% and the Leu at 3,29%.
At the policies of 4 March, the M5S collected 44,79%, the centre-right 29,8%, the centre-left 18,1%.
Polling stations closed at 23,00pm. 52,16% of those entitled voted. In Campobasso 62,69% voted, in Isernia 59,67%. Overall, there were 173 voters against 182 for previous policies.
