Moleskine flies: +13% after D'Ieteren's arrival

Moleskine flies to Piazza Affari after the entry into the capital of the Belgian group D'Ieteren which on Wednesday announced that it had signed agreements to acquire 41% of the capital at 2,4 euros per share. THE company securities thus jumped by 12,99%, exceeding the price paid by D'Ieteren (the share is now worth 2,418 euros) with significant volumes: 6,9 million pieces changed hands compared to an average of 168 thousand in a entire session of the last month.

At the closing of the acquisition, D'Ieteren will launch a mandatory takeover bid on the remaining shares at the same price, not conditional on the achievement of any acceptance threshold, during the last quarter of 2016. The Belgian company however specified that in in the event that the applicable relevant threshold is reached, the delisting of the Moleskine shares from the Milan Stock Exchange is envisaged.
