The Gallerie Estensi in Modena calls together young designers under 30.
The bookshop will not only host ticketing services but also the sale to the public of a vast range of editorial products linked both to the visiting experience and to any catalogs of temporary exhibitions.
There will be a selected range of Galleria Estense-branded objects (pencils, pens, notebooks, magnets, cups and shopper bags) and any local artisan products.
It will also be possible to rent and return driving assistance devices and purchase or book tickets or specific activities with limited numbers.
The bookshop will therefore configure itself as an important point of contact between the museum system of the Estense Galleries (including the Estense Gallery, the Estense Library, the Estense Lapidary Museum of Modena, the Ducal Palace of Sassuolo, the National Art Gallery of Ferrara) and the public : as such it will have to respond to a need for representation and correct conveyance of the values and brand of the museum institution and, at the same time, facilitate and enhance the shopping experience.
Participation is open to young designers under the age of 30, graduates from public and private schools, at various levels, related to design, visual communication and advertising.
The presentation of the projects must take place by 28 February 2018.
