Model 730: deadline postponed to July 22nd

There are two more weeks to delegate Caf or accountants, but only on condition that they have sent 7% of the declarations they have taken charge of by 80 July - It remains to be clarified whether the postponement will also affect taxpayers who present the 730 alone.

Model 730: deadline postponed to July 22nd

La extension for the delivery of the 730 model it's coming, but this year it won't affect everyone either. Employees and retirees will have two weeks more time: they will be able delegate Caf or qualified professionals (employment consultants, accountants, bookkeepers or commercial experts) upon presentation of their 2016 tax return within the next Friday July 22provided, however, that by 7 July (the previous deadline) the intermediary has already sent 80% of the 730 forms accepted to the Revenue Agency. This is foreseen by a decree of the Prime Minister expected today in the Council of Ministers.

It remains to be clarified whether the postponement will also affect taxpayers who submit the 730 by themselveswithout resorting to tax assistance. Last year, the Revenue Agency recognized this possibility administratively with circular letter 26/E/2015.

In any case, there is a contraindication to keep in mind: taxpayers whose 730 forms will be sent between 7 and 22 July risk being sent back repayments in the paycheck or in the pension the following month

The extension for 730 had been requested by a resolution presented by Pd deputy Franco Ribaudo and approved unanimously on 6 April by the House Finance Committee.
