Fashion: Horses, turnover +4% in 2012

Good result last year for the Roberto Cavalli fashion group: it closed 2012 with a net consolidated turnover of 185 million euros, up 4% on the previous year. The result, specifies a note, was still penalized by the reduced royalties due to the transition period of the Just Cavalli license.

Revenues from direct sales, which represent 72% of the total, grew by 6,8%. The positive trend of retail revenues in owned single-brand stores (+23,4%) was good, due both to the higher sales of existing stores (+18,7%) and to the opening of new points. At the end of 2012, the single-brand stores of the group had risen to 168 units. According to the note, "although not yet available in 'audited' form, the group's Ebitda as at 31 December 2012 is estimated at 11% of net turnover".
