Fashion: an exhibition on Italian excellence from the post-war period to 68 in Monza

An exhibition dedicated to Italian high fashion from the post-war period to '68 with great masterpieces by Renato Balestra, Fendi, Gattinoni, Emilio Pucci, Biki, Valentino. To these brands is added that of Bulgari, the main sponsor of this project, with a selection of unique pieces that immediately characterized the brand as the leader of the Italian school of jewellery. Among the pieces on display in the exhibition are a late 60s sautoir whose pendant is made with a carved emerald of about 300 carats and a necklace from the 50s in platinum and rubies. 

The exhibition "The fur is fantastic”, focused on Italian high fashion from 1945 to 1968, is held until 10 January 2016 at the Royal Villa of Monza. The curators of the exhibition are Maria Luisa Frisa, Anna Mattirolo, Stefano Tonchi.

The masterpieces of high fashion will be exhibited on the Second Noble Floor of the apartments of the Reggia and come from important public and private collections. These are clothes that made the history of Italian fashion and style of those unrepeatable years.

Il Cost of entrance ticket to the Bellissima exhibition is 13 euros. The price of the reduced ticket is 11 euros while the special reduced ticket is 4 euros. Free admission for all children under 6, for the disabled with a companion, Icom members and journalists with a card.
