Capgemini has entered into new contracts with select leasing companies and automakers offering electric and hybrid vehicles. This policy, aimed at ending all orders for diesel and petrol internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, is already producing positive results: approximately 13% of the most polluting cars in the Capgemini fleet will be phased out by year and a further 24% over the next. By the end of 2022, beyond the 50% of the Group's fleet will be hybrid or electric, while by the end of 2025 it will be 100%.

Along with the transition of its fleet, the Group is significantly increasing its investments in electric charging points, aims for 100% renewable electricity and has also joined the global initiative EV100, which brings together companies that are making the transition to electric vehicles (EV) towards a 100% electric fleet. Along with the introduction of a new travel policy aimed at reducing travel (where possible) and promoting choices related to low carbon emissions among employees to promote sustainable mobility.
