Milan headquarters of the Ministry of Innovation? Assolombarda and Confcommercio Milano, Monza and Brianza, Lodi positively support the proposal, formulated in recent days, to host the Ministry of Innovation in the Lombard capital.
“Milan, the international hub of innovation and business, today constitutes the ideal and natural seat of the dicastery: in its territory, after all, the economic engine of the country, characterized by a fabric of companies which, even in times of crisis, has never given up on pursuing technological development and stimulating growth”, reads the joint note. In addition, they continue, the "Ministry, thanks to its transfer to Milan, would also make use of the contribution of universities and public and private research centres, which have now consolidated, on a global level, as places of excellence and experimentation".
Therefore, at present, "there are no reasons not to follow up on the proposal: it is, however, necessary to invite all the parties involved in this great project to a coordination table that accepts, with deeds, the decision to host the Ministry of 'Innovation', concludes the note.
