The auction will take place on Tuesday 20 October in the halls of Palazzo Crivelli where the "Mike memorabilia” and the objects that belonged to him, witnesses of his professional and private life. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to finance a social activity identified by the family which, with the Mike Bongiorno Foundation, continues the famous conductor's constant commitment to support the neediest.
In early December another auction of particular interest will be the one dedicated to the humorous genius of Giorgio Forattini. More than 300 works will be auctioned that narrate Italian and international politics since the 70s: not only satirical drawings, but also blow-ups, cut-out silhouettes, caricatures in wood and forex depicting famous characters who, awarded, will be able to enter the everyone's homes.
This auction also has charitable purposes and the proceeds will go to support a recovery and valorisation project promoted by the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano).
