Milan also seems to be recovering. The modern and contemporary art auction held by Christie's in Palazzo Clerici was a real success. A catalog with 105 works of authors who at the moment enjoy greater notoriety and preference on the part of collectors and investors. Great re-debut for Bonalumi and Castellani, who considerably exceed the initial estimates. On the other hand, the historic 900 with some unsold items was penalized a bit (signal also recorded in other European auctions).
In fact, with today's auction many estimates have been exceeded, even reaching unexpected values for a place like Milan. A trend that is in line with other international markets such as London, New York or Paris, a decidedly positive signal that gives hope that it will be the beginning of a real economic recovery in our country.
