The Milan Digital Week 2020 is starting scheduled from Monday 25 May to Saturday 30 May. Due to the coronavirus emergency, this year's edition will be entirely online, with 600 events and 200 guests to follow live on the platform www.milanodigitalweek.com. The event will be organized under the patronage of the Department of Digital Transformation and Civic Services of the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with ANCI. Exceptional partner will be Tim.
Augmented City was the theme of the edition which was to begin in March. However, the coronavirus emergency has brought about such radical changes, especially in Lombardy, as to push organizations to change their focus. The title of this third edition will therefore be "Transformed city" is the title of this new edition, while Tim will directly supervise "Maestri d'Italia", a large online school promoted by over 30 partners as part of the Operation Risorgimento Digitale program.
It is a project conceived and curated by Riccardo Luna which will propose ten new appointments for its final week of programming, with five Edutainment workshops for children and five author's lessons conducted by Riccardo Luna. Also on the agenda is a series of webinars dedicated to smart working, Extended Reality technologies and innovative solutions developed by TIM WCAP startups in support of urban transformation.
