From 25 to 27 January, on the occasion of the Affordable Art Fair, the Milanese can enjoy a series of desserts created by master pastry chef Sal De Riso and inspired
to the world of contemporary art.

Contemporary art and pastry: the strange union is consumed in Milan until Sunday 27 January, on the occasion of the Affordable Art Fair, the international pop art fair held at Superstudio Più in via Tortona. For the occasion, the Master pastry chef from Campania (awarded with three cakes in the Gambero Rosso Guide "Pasticceri&Pasticcerie 2019") presents the new limited edition of single-portion sweets, inspired by the world of contemporary art and combined with the typical citrus fruits of the Amalfi coast, land of origin of De Riso, and to the spirits partners of the event, the Spanish gin Gin Mare and the Venezuelan rum Rum Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva.

And so visitors to the event will be able to taste, for example, the Gin Mare d'Amalfi, an almond sablè, creamy Amalfi lemon, Annurca apple heart with Gin Mare and blancmange. Or a Gin mare from the Caribbean, a mascarpone mousse, Gin Mare and mango with apricot and vanilla heart, or why not a very typical Neapolitan dessert, the babà, revisited with Diplomatic rum, chocolate mousse and Australian raisins. For the occasion, Sal De Riso has also created the Babamisu, half babà half tiramisù, a curious crossing with the classic babà soaked in coffee and Diplomatic rum, in a mascarpone cream and creamy coffee chocolate.

in the space provided Art Sweet Corner the Milanese public can also get lost in the taste of cakes that have decreed the international fame of Sal De Riso such as Caprese, Ricotta and pears, Cinque sensi and Anastasia. At the end of the event, on Sunday evening, Sal De Riso and Walter Gosso, Ambassador of Compagnia dei Caribbean (one of the sponsors), will also hold a masterclass on the encounter between haute patisserie and the world of distillates on the terrace of the LAB, space that combines tasting sessions with the work of some emerging artists engaged in a special project.
